FAQ

What kind of quality can I expect?
Quality can vary from title to title. Most of our public domain prints are good, but they are not studio-quality releases. Due to the rarity of some public domain films, you can expect occasional imperfections. We always make the effort to source and offer the best prints available for each title.

Are these DVDs new or used?
All of our DVDs are made using new, high-quality materials. This includes the DVD case, the DVD-R disc, and the paper and ink used to print the cover artwork. Each order is prepared individually and packaged carefully before shipping.

Do your DVDs have subtitles or closed captions?
Because many of these films have never been remastered or officially released, subtitles and closed captions are often not available. Most of our older, English-language classic films do not include subtitles. Foreign-language titles do include hard-encoded subtitles, meaning the subtitles are permanently embedded in the film and cannot be turned on or off.

Do you offer discounts for large orders?
Yes, we do offer discounts for larger orders. Please contact us and let us know which titles you’re interested in. Discounts depend largely on the availability of the movies.

What does “out of print” mean?
Out-of-print titles are films that are no longer commercially available through standard retail channels. Many are difficult to find and may not be available at all in physical format elsewhere.

How long does it take to process an order?
Because each DVD is made to order, processing times may vary slightly. Most orders are prepared and shipped within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

How much is shipping?
Shipping costs vary depending on the number of titles ordered and where the product is being shipped. You can view your shipping total before purchasing by checking your cart at any time during the ordering process.

What if my disc is faulty?
If your disc is faulty for any reason, we will replace it with no questions asked.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Returns or exchanges are accepted for faulty discs only. Personal preference or not liking a film is not a valid reason for a return.
